Went for afternoon tea with a friend. The spread was carb heavy, just like it should be! There could have been some additional cakes. I've been to others afternoon teas which had a few more options. A chocolate cake slice, carrot, and or coffee and walnut would have been a nice treat. The staff were super friendly, but forgetful. We had to ask for things multiple times. But when they did bring things everything was great. Good coffee and tea options and being dog friendly is awesome. They even have parking, just be aware it's behind the bistro. They share it with a Chinese restaurant. All in all a great place to eat and congregate. My friend and I are going back in a month's time to try their lunch. They also do breakfast and bottomless brunch. Love it that they support the community with meals in wheels and events in their upper room. Downstairs is quaint for couples and small groups.
Had a bottomless brunch for a small hen party gathering. Food was lovely and atmosphere was fab. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Prosseco continually topped up and cocktails were really nice. Thankyou for a fab afternoon
What a wonderful surprise - wifey and I had one of the most delightful breakfasts we've had anywhere in Blighty - with great coffee to boot! Thoroughly recommended, and we can't wait to be back!
We had a lovely lunch stop here on the way to Bath! The owner is so lovely and welcoming. We chose the lasagne special, jacket potatoes and a panini. The servings were generous and very tasty. One of our party is coeliac and there were plenty of options for her to choose from. The iced coffee was fabulous - highly recommend!
Had my first experience here, Fantastic food and drinks galore. Lovely managers Very attentive. Would highly recommend

Bottomless lunch 3pm on a Saturday. Table was ready with olives on sticks was a nice touch to have without asking. Had 1st flute of Prosecco within a couple of minutes. Bistro was full to capacity so booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. Would 100% recommend.
